Research topics: Insect ecology, insect pathology, and biological control
Research program: My research program focuses on biorationale pest management, biological control of insect pests, and the ecology of natural enemies. Previously I have worked with predators and parasitoids of agricultural pests, but for the past several years I have focused on the ecology of fungal pathogens and their interactions with their insect hosts. My program spans from more basic aspects of pathogen dynamics and epizootiology to evaluating microbial insecticides and developing potential strategies for use in integrated pest management programs.
